I'm sitting here in a hospital room waiting for my mum to come out of surgery and I'm taking the opportunity to update my website, 'A little bit about me.'

I've just realised that it was 50 years ago that my nan took her first job as a florist with Barry Young in Abbey lane, Leicester. Barry became the owner of Stardust in Bardon, Coalville.

Does any body remember him?

In that time there's been 3 generations of florists, with both my aunties, nana and mum all having had flower shops around Leicestershire, London Road, Watergate Lane, Newbold Verdon, Shepshed, Markfield, Coleorton and now Coalville.

Sorry got to go my mums coming out of recovery.
