About me
I started my florist career in a family flower shop, at the age of 15 as a Saturday girl, I knew I wanted to be a florist, at 18 I opened my first business, 30 years later, I'm still a florist, I still have my own business and I still love my job!
Working in Floristry doesn't feel like work, I get this amazing opportunity to be a part of all life’s moments, celebrating little ones being born, florals for weddings, special birthdays and anniversaries and personalising last goodbyes for loved ones.
My mum was a florist, my nan was also a florist back in her day. In 1974 she walked into her first job with Barry Young on Abbey street, Leicester.
I have a little cockapoo that comes to work with me sometimes, so if you need a bit of dog therapy or if you need to just destress and in need of a doggie hug feel free to pop by, he'll be there behind the counter.
We do next day deliveries and normally same day if you call us and if we have availability or you can drop by the Springboard business centre in Coalville where we are situated and have a chat.
My aim is simple, to create beautiful flowers you will remember. With fresh seasonal flowers and a love for all flowers, I try to give something different every time.
